OSMOSIS: Online Class with CIMSA

On Sunday, 1 November 2020 CIMSA FK Unsyiah held OSMOSIS (Online Class With CIMSA). We adopt this theme because there are many college students from the first semester afraid of tentamen exam and lack of understanding about Anatomy of Cardiovascular System, Histology of Cardiovascular System, and Physiology of Cardiovascular System. Also we held this event to introduce to the new college students about CIMSA.

There are some reasons why we held this event. First, we want to improve capability new students during the pandemic. Second, this event aims to make the new students learn and upgrade their knowledge about three branch of medical science, which is anatomy, histology, and physiology. Third, we want to introduce to the new students about CIMSA in general. Last, we want to improve capacity of the new college students by holding alumni sharing with the topic how to optimize the organization and lectures.

This activity was held for 1 day, the first series of this event is opening at 09:00 WIB, with the master of ceremony is Asmaul Husna. The next series of events is CIMSA Introduction with the speaker is Hibban Ar Royan as LOCO CIMSA FK Unsyiah 2020-2021. At this introduction, Hibban give a presentation about CIMSA in general followed by CIMSA Introduction’s video playback.

After CIMSA Introduction, we opened the breakout room consisting of anatomy class, histology class, and physiology class. The new students who have registered and choose 1 of the three classes on the gform, entered the class they have chosen. After entered the class, there is pre-test of each class before the learning session begins.There are 1 tutor in each class, Naufal Gusti (Anatomy Assistant 2018) as the tutor of anatomy class, Amirul Haidi Al-Siddiq (Histology Assistant 2018) as the tutor of histology class, and Intan Qanita (Physiology Assistant 2019) as the tutor of physiology class. The learning session held for 45 minutes with each tutor presenting their class materials. Also there is post-test after the class finished,and the new students returned to the main room.

The next series of events is Sco Fair,each Local Officer presented their SCo.We have fun together with new students. There is TikTok video playback about each SCo which has been made by all local officers.

At the end, at 10:50 WIB. Sharing Session with dr. Agung Prabowo as speaker and Adinda Zahra Ayufi Ramadhani as the moderator in Alumni Sharing about how to optimize the organization and lectures. Then, before closing the event we have a photo session together.

From Pretest and Posttest, we could see that the participants' knowledge increased after the Online Class as much as 113,26%. This positive impact could conclude this activity is success.
